Auburn-Opelika Metropolitan Planning Organization Policy Board

The Auburn-Opelika Metropolitan Planning Organization (AOMPO) Policy Board is the decision-making body of the AOMPO. The Board is made up of elected officials and transportation representatives from the region. The AOMPO brings together local leaders, transportation providers, and state partners to plan and prioritize transportation projects across the region. The Organization develops two key plans: a 25-year Long Range Transportation Plan (LRTP) and a four-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) that identifies projects eligible for funding.
